PA66 DUPONT 101F Resin
PA66 DUPONT 101F Resin
Material Introduction: PA66 DUPONT 101F (USA DuPont) is a high‑flow unreinforced general‑purpose injection‑molding PA66 resin. It features excellent processing flowability, good mechanical strength, wear resistance, oil resistance and electrical insulation performance, and complies with FDA food‑contact standards. Its inherent water‑absorption property will affect dimensional stability and partial performances; strict drying is mandatory before processing.
Main Applications
Electronic‑electrical industry: Connectors, coil bobbins, switches, relays and other electrical insulating parts.
Automotive industry: Automotive cooling fans, gears, bearings, rollers, spring brackets, pulleys, high‑pressure sealing gaskets, valve seats, oil pipelines and oil storage containers.
Industrial parts: Industrial gears, sealing rings, various handles and support frames.
Household appliances: Household appliance components.
Other fields: Cable ties, medical devices, sports goods and daily‑use articles.

Injection Molding Parameters
| Processing Item | Recommended Range / Condition | Notes & Explanations |
|---|---|---|
| Drying Treatment | Hot‑air drying at 85 ℃; vacuum‑dry at 105 ℃ for 12 h when moisture>0.2%. | Critical operation to prevent hydrolysis‑induced bubbles, silver streaks and mechanical‑property deterioration. Use immediately after drying or seal and keep warm properly. |
| Melt Temperature | 260‑290 ℃. | Avoid temperature>300 ℃ to prevent material degradation. |
| Mold Temperature | 80 ℃ recommended. | Mold temperature affects crystallinity and final properties. Thin‑wall parts molded below 40 ℃ may require annealing for geometric stability. |
| Injection Pressure | 750‑1250 bar. | Subject to product and mold design. |
| Injection Speed | High speed (moderately lower for reinforced materials). | ‑ |
| Runner & Gate | Gate bore ≥0.5*t (t = part wall thickness). Smaller gate size for hot runner vs conventional runner. Minimum diameter for submarine gate:0.75 mm. | Short solidification time of PA66, gate location & dimension are critical for filling. |
| Molding Shrinkage | 1.0%‑2.0% for unreinforced grade; can drop to 0.2%‑1% with glass‑fiber addition. | Large difference between flow direction and transverse direction. |
